We are committed to building a highly skilled, professional finance workforce that enables better decision-making, delivers value for money, and supports high-quality public services. The Academy provides a unified, national solution to address recruitment, retention, and development challenges, offering structured learning pathways and leadership development at every career stage. 

Our Approach 

The Finance Academy is delivered through a partnership model involving Public Services Delivery (PSD) Scotland, Scottish Government, and Deloitte.

NHS Scotland Finance Academy offers variety of development opportunities for the NHS Scotland finance community to  help build the capabilities needed now and for the future. These include programmes to upskill future leaders, combining technical expertise, leadership, and improvement methodology; and improving efficiency, insight and decision-making supported by automation and AI.
